Minimum Requirements

* Standard 10 / grade 12 

* Degree/ diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery registered with SANC

*A post basic one year specialized qualification in Pramary Health Care accredited with SANC

* Current SANC Annual practicing certificate

* A minimum of 4 years appropriate/ recognizable experience in nursing after registration as general nurse and midwife with SANC

* Driving license

* Knowledge of SANC rules and regulation

* Knowledge of nursing procedures, relvant acts and policies

* Knowledge of Batho Pele and Patient's Rights Charter

* Knowledge of code of conduct and labour relations 

* Good communication skills

* Decision making and problem solving skills

* Basic financial management

Key performance areas

* To provide quality comprehensive primary health care by promoting preventive, curative and rehabilitative services for the clients and communities.

* Demontrate effective communication with leaners, school principals and other stakeholders.

* Implement ISHP

* Provide health education and continuous assessment of learners.

* Provide clinical services in schools guided by DOH policies by identifying school program needs, schedule learner assessment guided by school time table, conduct campaign and immunization as per DOH guidelines.

* Manage all resources i.e. human, material and equipment.

* Enure qualit service is provided
